Visit to Gati Subramanya and Boganandeeswara Temple, Nadhi Hills.

The Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple, situated near Nandi Hills in Chikkaballapur district, Bengaluru, is an ancient Hindu temple complex dating back to 9th-10th century AD. Dedicated to Lord Shiva in his form as Nandi, the sacred bull, and his consort Parvati, the temple showcases exquisite Dravidian architecture. It consists of twin temples, Arunachaleshwara and Bhoga Nandeeshwara, each reflecting distinct architectural styles from different periods. The temple is renowned for its intricate carvings, elaborate pillars, and serene surroundings, making it a significant pilgrimage site and a popular tourist attraction near Bengaluru. When we visited the temple, climate was very pleasant. We took a few photographs and roamed around the temple for half hour. Place is also kept clean. We hired Taxi from known driver and visited both the temples.

Ghati Subramanya Temple

The Ghati Subramanya temple is a popular Hindu pilgrimage center situated near Doddaballapura, Karnataka, about 60 kilometers from Bangalore city. The temple is unique because the main idol, Lord Kartikeya, is depicted in the form of a seven-headed cobra. It is also a significant center for serpent worship in South India. Botha Lakshmi venkateswara and Kartikeya are situated in the same temple. We took Sepcial darshan by paying 50 Rs and had a darshan. We also had prasadam in the same temple. Food was good and place was maintained nicely. While coming i bought Bhydagi and REd chillis from the near by vendor. Chilli from this local town is very spicy.

After completing the temples visits, we spent some time at Yelahanka Flats and returned back to Guest house by late evening.
